Happy Slapowitz Toy Bash
Benefit for Marine Toys for Tots
7 Clubs and 100's of supporters came out for a fun filled night of entertainment and raised over $12,000 for toys to benefit those without during the holidays! Our hats are off to Ryan Eftink of Smokin Brothers and the hard working volunteers who put this benefit together.

Halloween Weekend

Elizabeth Cook & The Bottle Rockets at the River Center
The Landing in Van Buren has added an event center which makes a great location for entertainment as well as business retreats. We enjoyed staying overnight, eating a nice dinner and breakfast, and experiencing the talented entertainers Elizabeth Cook with her band and the Bottle Rockets band, both on the same night!

John D Hale Band Barn Party
Set in the country between Cape & Jackson this annual event has become a major music event in the area. We certainly enjoyed the line up this year and look forward to next year.

Southeast Showcase at The Show Me Center
Possibly one of the most enjoyable events of the year we participate in is the Showcase. This annual benefit for Southeast Health Foundation causes is always well attended and extremely organized. The entertainment, food and costumes can cause you to forget that this event raises money to help people needing assistance for health care. This year Southeast Showcase raised $33,581, had an attendance of 1224 with 42 vendor booths.

Locash Cowboys at Roxy's
This up and coming band put on a great show and we capture some nice pictures.

Bloom Heavy River Romp
This 4 day event at Current River is put on by Alex Barney and Matt Caldwell and a whole army of volunteers. Many bands, both local and touring make this the place to be in June.

Perryville Mayfest Parade
An event enjoyed by 1000's in the area this community get together involves great food, beverages and entertainment. We enjoyed the day spent in Perryville during Mayfest!

Midget Wrestling at Pink Galleon
The novelty of this event created a sold out show and was perhaps the most unique of the events we covered in 2011.

Isle of Carpi Groundbreaking
This is likely the event to have the greatest impact on the Cape Girardeau area for years to come. A large group of community leaders turned out to witness the beginning of Isle of Capri's $120,000,000 construction project.

St Pats Celebrations
Another of the annual events that bring out the kid in many. Dressed up and having fun the Irish way! At least that's our story and we are sticking to it!
