In an effort to raise money for St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, one teacher made an interesting bet with his students, that if they raised their goal of $500 dollars he would shave his head, and come to school in a skirt. Zeigler-Royalton Elementary raised $2000, and Donald Bacon happily had his hair and beard shaven in front of everyone in a school assembly, while wearing a tiara and tu-tu. With thousands of dollars raised for charity, and a whole school cheering him on, Mr. Bacon certainly earned his crown.
