657 to Receive Degrees at Southeast Fall Commencement Dec. 15

Southeast Missouri State University will hold its fall commencement ceremonies Dec. 15 during which 657 students – 528 undergraduates, 122 master’s degree candidates and seven specialist candidates – will receive their degrees.

Southeast will hold two commencement ceremonies in the Show Me Center. Candidates in the College of Education, Health and Human Studies and the Harrison College of Business and Computing will participate in a ceremony at 10 a.m. Candidates in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and the Holland College of Arts and Media will take part in a 2 p.m. ceremony.

Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community Announced for Fall 2019

 

Southeast Missouri State University has announced a new Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community to open in fall 2019 to foster the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of students.

The learning community is a collaborative partnership between the Office of Residence Life and the Douglas C. Greene Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to provide students unique experiential learning opportunities.

Big Third Quarter Sends #20 Southeast Missouri to First-Ever Playoff Win Over #15 Stony Brook

#20 Southeast Missouri (9-3) kept its historic season alive when it erased a 14-point deficit by scoring 28 third-quarter points en route to a 28-14 victory over #15 Stony Brook (7-5) Saturday afternoon in the first round of the NCAA Division I Football Championship.

First Friday Press Release

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO-- Friday, November 2, from 5 to 9 p.m., the Southeast Missouri Arts Council will host an opening reception for photographer Kyle DeWitt’s Out West exhibition.
